A fanfiction coming to the web August 13, 2012...
It's been two years since the events of the first film, and Hiccup is about to join Stoick's War Council -- after an Induction Ceremony he is most definitely not looking forward to. But Stoick's past catches up with him, peace is broken, and Hiccup is forced to face death and shame to save his friend, his father, and his love.
My sister and I have been planning this novel for a little over a month and are really excited to share with you our explorations of the past of the major characters, the core relationships, and, of course, who Heather is (the mysterious "evil antagonist" from the upcoming TV series). Personal Note
Hey all, my HTTYD YouTube buddies! I was so excited to make this vid for the novel my sister and I are creating. It's my first foray into the epic instrumentals and I hope I did y'all proud. It seems I heard this song from one of you guys, but oh well, it fit the trailer nicely. I also tried to channel HTTYD2014, hiccuptoothless94, and theNightFuryFan95 (all you Flasherific folks) in making the snappy transitions and flashes and stuff.

OKAY. So yesterday the trailer to Rogue One: a Star Wars story hit the Interwebs and I went and got all excited thinking our new heroine is Lukes wife and Reys mother, aka Mara Jade, rechristened Jyn Erso. She gave me all sorts of Katniss vibes too and then that whole question posed in the trailer— being captured, being broken, what will you become?? And all Im thinking is MARA.
Anyway. I AM SO EXCITE and I threw this together. It also doubles somewhat as a tribute to Mara/Luke, because that song is so perf for them.
Heres hoping Thrawn is the officer in white!
Cant wait for December!! Let the raging speculation begin!
