bap8guy | HP 1710A 150Mhz Dual Trace / Dual Timebase Oscilloscope @bap8guy | Uploaded April 2020 | Updated October 2024, 20 hours ago.
This early 1970's vintage scope is an example of state-of-the-art for the times. Meticulously designed and implemented, using the finest of parts. At the time of it's debut, this device commanded approximately a $3500 price tag (1973). This was at a time that this represented approximately 1/2 the average annual income.
This old beauty is still performing beautifully. Covers dc to 150Mhz in DC mode, or 10Hz to 150Mhz in AC mode. The two time bases allow for Delayed sweep, to allow "zooming" in on a portion of the main signal, without losing a view of the original signal.
The video demonstrates many of the modes / functions of the scope, to prove it's functionality for it's eventual Ebay sale.
