This is an introduction and test of a Heathkit IG1275 Linear/Log Sweep Function Generator. It has a 3Hz to 3 Mhz range in 6 steps, 0 to -50db attenuation in 10db steps, provides Square/Triangle/Sine wave output, in continuous/Gated/Burst or sweep modes. It also sports symmetry and offset adjustments. It has a variety of available outputs and inputs. I demonstrate it's use in the display of low pass and high pass filters and then a bandpass 455khz resonator.
