How to Use Final Cut like an Omnichord or Granular Synthesizer @lullatone

You can use the Final Cut export screen as an instrument that sounds like an Omnichord or granular synthesizer! If you use your mouse to scroll around the video, it also scrubs through the audio. By writing some simple ascending scales in Ableton Live and plugging them into a Final Cut project. You can strum them with your mouse on the export screen just like and autoharp.

If you don’t use these set notes, you could also scrub through others sounds like you might do with the Samplr app (a super wonderful granular sample player) or Granulator (our favorite Max for Live instrument).

This is a super ridiculous way to make songs, but it is also really fun. So… maybe try it out if you get bored or something. It might lead to something nice and unplanned somewhere one day.
