If you have the Count to Five pedal and want to try it at home:
- Put it in Mode 1
- Set the Q to Fifths and Octaves
- Adjust the direction knob so it plays back reversed at the original pitch
- Turn the LENS Knob to your desired loop length
- Turn the FEEDBACK knob all the way to the right

I recently found out that with the right settings, you can make loops that will boomerang back and forth - playing the notes forward then backwards like a palindrome on the Montreal Assembly Count to Five pedal.

I love the this pedal and use it all of the time, but finding this new trick made me love it even more. Here are some tests with an organelle, a teenage engineering OP-1, a glockenspiel and some phonetic palindromes going into it.
