Everyone I know is so into Animal Crossing New Horizons these days. My son likes collecting all of the records from K.K. Slider. You know, digging in those digital crates.


I love how dinky and MIDI they sound. I thought maybe I could make something like it on a Teenage Engineering OP-1. This is the track I came up.


It’s the most popular thing I made at home lately. The kids were way more into it than the “boring” (their words) ambient things I was making at the start of quarantine.


Yoshimi said I kind of look like K.K. Slider because I’m always holding a guitar and have crazy eyebrows. Touché!
