Rokolee DIY | How to: Tighten the Last Stitch of Your Bind Off Edge | Knitting Tip for Better Finishing @RokoleeDIY | Uploaded September 2023 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.
This easy knitting tutorial shows you 2 ways to tighten the last stitch of your bound off edge, since this stitch often ends up loose and kinda sloppy looking.
In this video, I'll be demonstrating using the knit bind off method, and I'll use a garter stitch swatch for the 1st method and a stockinette stitch swatch for the 2nd method.
It's just a simple way to improve the finishing of your knitting project and make it extra neat.
I hope you find this helpful :)
Standard knit bind off video lesson:

Note that I learnt the 1st technique from Suzanne Bryan, and the 2nd technique from Patty Lyons (highly recommended knitting teachers).
(Chunky yarn, 6 mm needles.)
