In this video you will learn how to tie the Kalmyk Loop Knot.
The Kalmyk Loop is a good end-of-line loop knot, but I personally prefer using the Imitation Slipped Bowline because it is not only fast and easy to tie, but less likely to fail if tied wrong. One issue with the Kalmyk Loop is that if you don't dress it correctly, it can become unsafe. However, once you learn to dress it properly, it's a very useful knot.

Bushcrafters often use the Kalmyk Loop because it's easy to tie and, being a slipped knot, it's very simple to untie. It might even be an alternative to the Bowline.
