4 tips to help you talk about your mental illness with friends, at school/work, on dates, and in the public:

1. If you’re struggling now, talk to someone you trust.
2. At school or work, get the accommodations you need.
3. Share with potential long term partners as soon as you feel comfortable.
4. Share stories about your "scars", not your "wounds".
