This video will show you how to take a screenshot on any android device you have, as long as it is running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwhich) or above. If you have an android device with before 4.0, you will have to use an app to take screenshots. One of the apps for this would be No Root Screenshot It.
Basically all you have to do to take the screenshot in Android 4.0 and above, is hold down the down volume button, and the power button together for about a second. The device will then take a screenshot and save it to a screenshots folder in your phones gallery.
