This video shows how to replace the battery in a Google Nexus 5 cellphone. Normally the battery is not replaceable, but by taking the phone apart, the battery can be replaced. The only tools needed are a spudger, and a small screwdriver.
First the back has to be taken off the phone, which a tutorial can be found for here: youtu.be/s5NSExm0CNQ
Then, the black piece of plastic near the camera. This needs to be removed because it covers the cables for the battery.
Next, the cables to the battery need to be unplugged. Then the battery needs to be removed, which is glued down, so needs to be taken out very carefully.

Then just place the battery where the old one was taken out, plug the cables back in, replace the black piece over the camera, and then put the back cover back one.
