I call this The No Flinching Drill, and it’s all about staying calm under pressure.

In this drill, I back up just far enough so I can’t hit my partner, not even by accident. I slowly speed up my strikes, and if he starts flinching, I immediately slow down again. This is a drill to stay calm in your head, which is the most important thing in competing.

You see, when my opponent starts to flinch, his brain starts panicking a bit, which tells me I’m already inside his head. Once that happens, feints will be added, and I can pick my next shots much more easily.

You’ll learn:

🥊 How to stay relaxed under pressure
🥊 Why flinching gives your opponent openings
🥊 The mindset behind true composure in a fight, which should always be CALM
🥊 What it means to stay calm so you can read your opponent better

This drill isn’t just physical; it’s mostly mental. Stay calm, stay focused, and don’t flinch.
