2020 has definitely been a strange year, that came with privations, health issues, anxiety, financial struggles, and mental issues for many of us.
As we are approaching the end of a challenging stretch, we are also nearing the holidays. A time of the year that is emotionally charged with expectations and feelings as it is - but of course 2020 will add another little dampener on top of that with many countries having enforced lockdowns over the holidays. So Today I want to brighten your day a bit and give you some tips and tricks on how to survive spending Christmas alone in 2020.
Christmas 2020 will definitely be less of a family affair than the other years - either due to lockdown and quarantine or because you just don't have anyone you can or want to spend the holidays with in general. But I promise you, there are some tips in here that will make being alone on Christmas quite enjoyable after all - caring for your mental wellbeing, using the time to create some meaningful me-time, and even find happiness and simple pleasures in a very different type of Christmas celebration.
