Hi, lovelies, and welcome in my holiday kitchen,
Today we are baking a wonderful wintery nut, creme, and apple cake, sprinkled with cinnamon dust. Consisting of 3 different layers of culinary bliss.
But don't worry, this holiday recipe is actually really simple and easy to make.
With its festive flavor combinations of the season, a moist hazelnut base, spiced apple filling, and whipped cream finish, it is definitely my favourite apple Christmas dessert - however, I do have to say that this year it might have been dethroned by my extravagant yule log cake fantasy. and of course, throughout the video, I will be giving you tips again on how to make this video vegan - and it is quite easy to make this into a gluten-free Christmas dessert :)

Apple Christmas dessert recipe
For the nut base
X 150 g butter (soft)
X 125 g sugar
X 3 eggs
X 125 g hazelnuts (ground)
X 50 g flour
X 2 tsp baking powder
X 1 Tbsp cinnamon
For the apple filling
X 800 g apples (grated)
X swig of amaretto
X 100 g sugar
X juice of 0.5 lemon
X 2 eggs
X 2 Tbsp vanilla custard powder
Topping
X sweetened whipped cream
X cinnamon (and sugar)
