A leaking VVT oil pressure switch on 2012 Subaru Legacy may lead to a Variable Valve Timing system malfunction. It certainly led to some noxious fumes as the oil dripped onto the exhaust manifold. In this video we will replace the driver’s side switch. The passenger side switch was not leaking but we will point out the location for inspection.
