How to remove a payment method from your Apple ID on iPhone or iPad | Remove saved payment method from Apple iPhone

1. Open settings
2. Then tap your name
3. Tap payment and shipping, you might need to sign in with your Apple ID or Face ID
4. Tap the payment method you wish to remove
5. Then select Remove payment method
6. Tap remove to confirm

Why Unable to remove payment method on iPhone :
You can't remove a payment method, If you have an active subscription such as iCloud+ or Apple Music or any other subscriptions, you want to keep at least one payment method on file. you can cancel subscriptions or When your subscription period has finished, you can remove your payment method.

if you have more than one payment method, then the secondary method will automatically become the default method. to remove it follow the previous steps.
