Is your shower ruining your curls between wash days?

If you’re pulling your hair up tightly before showering, you may be stretching your curls or creating dents underneath your shower cap.
And if you leave your curls uncovered, steam softens their structure and reshapes them.
That can work as a refresh for some hair types, but if your hair doesn’t respond well to humidity, it usually leads to frizz and misshaping instead.
A shower cap helps keep curls scrunched instead of stretched.
Try putting it on upside down just like a bonnet so your curls stay lifted naturally inside. Avoid stuffing your hair into a tight pineapple first, since that can create dents underneath.
This simple step between wash days helps your styling last longer with less restyling.
