This version of Philly Cheesesteak is made in the pressure cooker. My pressure cooker is the Ninja Foodi but you could do this in any cooker that also has a sauté function.
Philly Cheesesteak in the PRESSURE COOKER
Olive Oil
2 Bell Peppers
1/2 to 1 whole Onion (yellow or white)
1-2 lbs Sirloin
Worcestershire Sauce
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Paprika
1 C Beef Broth
Salt & Pepper
Provolone Cheese
Hoagie Rolls
1. Start by slicing your veggies into thin strips. Turn on the Ninja Foodi or Instant pot to Saute. I had mine on high but then switched it to medium. Saute your veggies in some olive oil and salt and pepper. Once cooked to your liking, remove from the pot.
2. Slice the sirloin into thin strips. Place into the hot pot with some olive oil. Let brown for just a few minutes then add in the broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. (This is really depending on how you would like to season it. I listed what I used in the recipe)
3. Close the lid. Set the valve to Seal and pressure cook on HIGH for 8 minutes. Allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.
4. Once meat is done cooking, add the veggies back in.
5. Butter and toast the buns and top with your meat and veggies. Add on the cheese and allow to melt in the oven for a minute or two.
