Just Dee | How to Make Oven-Fried Plantain @JustDeeCooking | Uploaded May 2018 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Hello Family! So you should know by now that I hate frying - I hate the lingering smell, it's a waste of oil etc. etc. That being said, I will fry every now and again like on this day I shockingly made fried chicken (I will film that recipe sometime π) but couldn't bear to fry the plantains, LOL. Anyway if you don't like frying here is an alternative for you. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. I'll catch you in the next video.
2 ripe Plantains, sliced
1-2 Tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp salt (to taste), optional
Oven preheated on convect to 350-400Β°F
