In this video I will explain how to make Elf Ears out of Liquid Latex so that you can make latex elf ears. This is a very simple way to create a beautiful elf ear that will fit your or your actor's ears really nice.
Some basic materials you will need is:
LIQUID LATEX to coat the plaster elf ear to make your beautiful elf ear.
You can purchase Liquid Latex on Amazon or at costume stores.
CRAFT PAINT most hobby stores or even most Walmart and Target stores carry craft paints.
WOODEN STICK or popsicle stick. This is used to remove your latex ears from the plaster positive mold. Using metal instruments can scratch or wreck your plaster molds.
BABY POWDER or TRANSLUCENT POWDER or even CORN STARCH to powder over the latex so it isn't sticky. All types of Latex is sticky when dry and if it stick to itself, it may not come apart. Use the type of powder you feel comfortable using.
