How To Make Cocktails With Rye Whisky & White Whisky Transcript/Recipe:

Here at the Minhas Brewery, we like to do things differently but we also like common sense. So, people like rye and people like honey so we decided to combined them both in a drink.
The ingredients for a Honey Rye are, one ounce of Chinook Signature Rye Whisky, one and a half ounces of honey syrup, which is one part water and one part honey, a couple of dashes of bitters, and top that all off with ginger ale. So how to start first take a glass and put some ice in to it. Next add your one ounce of Chinook Whiskey, then add your honey syrup. Then a few dashes of bitters, and start to stir it. Stir it slowly but enough that all the liquid is going to touch the ice and go to the same temperature. Once you feel you’ve got the drink cool enough you want to top that with ginger ale. For garnish throw a little bit of orange peel on there, and you’re ready to go.
People are going to love the honey rye because it is taking a twist on an old classic. Rye and ginger have become so popular but a rye Honey Rye is even better.

The ingredients that go into a white Caesar are, first and foremost Chinook white whisky and an ounce of that. Then three dashes of worcestershire sauce, two dashes of tabasco sauce, cracked pepper and steak spice. And then top that all off with Clamato juice.

First and foremost to make the white Caesar you need the perfect presentation, to do that you've got to rim your glass, and it is very simple to do. Take a lemon wedge and squeeze the juice on the inside and outside of your glass. Then take a plate of steak spice and pepper, spin your glass and you’ll get a good nice rimming. And now and ice cubes to it. From there you want to add two dashes of Tabasco sauce, maybe more if you like it a bit hotter. And then three dashes of worcestershire sauce, after that you want to add one once of your Chinook White whiskey, and top that all with Clamato Juice. Stir that with your bartender spoon. Garnish that with a lime and maybe a pickle and you’re good.

I love the idea of the white Caesar. The reason I decided to change from a traditional Caesar is that the vanilla and the creaminess of the whisky just compliments the Caesar.
