Homebridge is a open source platform that acts as a HomeKit bridge, like a Philips Hue bridge, but it supports multiple devices makers. Homebridge allows you to integrate with smart home devices that do not natively support HomeKit. There are over 2,000 Homebridge plugins supporting thousands of different smart accessories.
This means you can integrate devices like the Neato robot vacuum, Ring, SwitchBot and even a bring control for your Tesla into HomeKit all using Plugins developed by the HomeBridge community.
In this video tutorial we will show you how to set up HomeBridge on a Raspberry Pi and get it working with HomeKit.
