Apple Intelligence in Apple Home is proving to be far smarter than traditional camera notifications.

Instead of simply detecting a person at my door, it identified the delivery company as Royal Mail from the badge on the driver’s uniform.

That means I didn’t just know someone had arrived. I knew I had received a Royal Mail delivery.

This level of context could make smart home notifications far more useful than simple person, vehicle, or package detection.
