In this video our host Albert Howell learns how to care for and sharpen garden tools from our expert Carson Arthur.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Olive oil, bleach, paper towel, ginder.

STEPS:
1. Make sure to wear safety glasses.
2. Sand edge of shovel using a grinder.
3. Put bleach on paper towel.
4. Bleach is a great disinfectant.
5. Protects the shovel from spreading fungal infections from plant
to plant.
6. Next put olive oil on the edge to prevent oxidization.
7. If you don’t have olive oil use mineral oil.
8. Use this treatment for any tool that has a blade.
