This video shows how to light a vintage Primus Stove, Model 210, but the technique will be similar for most pressurised Paraffin (or Kerosene) stoves.

Made in Sweden, this stove dates from 1915 so it's seen a bit of action over the years, but with the exception of a couple of repairs, it works like a dream.
