How to Install Vinyl Plank Flooring in a Camper Van:
Step 1:
Make sure you strip your van floor all the way down to the sheet metal if its not already visible. Once its stripped down, you'll need to thoroughly clean the surface of the floor and fill in any holes that might be on your floor to ensure that you won't have any issues with mold or infestations later on down the line in your van conversion.
Step 2:
Lay down a floor underlayment. I chose to use an underlayment that acts as a liquid barrier as well as insulation. There are a ton of different options to use for this part of the process, so don't worry if your material looks a little bit different than mine!
Step 3:
Install the vinyl plank flooring. Start your first piece of flooring in the very front left corner of your van. Then attach your next plank to the right of the first one and cut it to fit the width of your floor space. Use the remainder of that plank that you cut to start the next row and continue installing these vinyl plank flooring pieces in that manner all the way until you reach the back of your camper van.
