DIY No Weld Aluminum Truck Camper Frame | Overland Camper ep. 1 (Foundation) :
In this video I start building the frame of the overland truck camper that will be attached to my f-150 XLT. I'm building this frame out of aluminum for its light weight and ease of use when attempting to connect joints without a welding machine. My workshop does not have electricity, so I connected this frame together by using rivets, home made aluminum L brackets, and aluminum brazing rods. I take you with me on the journey of learning how to get through this project without welding and with no prior experience metal working. Hopefully you enjoy this one as much as I did. It was a great change of pace from the usual wood projects and stepping outside of my comfort zone was definitely interesting.
