In this DROPS video we show you how to increase 1 stitch between 2 stitches, leaving a small hole. The increases can be worked individually or you can work several increases above each other creating a line of holes; great for raglan for example.
BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
Increase on each side of 2 stitches. Work in stocking stitch to where you are going to increase.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
ROUND 1:
After the last stitch is worked, make 1 yarn over (= 1 new stitch), knit 2, make 1 yarn over (= 1 new stitch).
ROUND 2:
Knit the yarn overs leaving small holes. If you are increasing several times above each other (i.e., on every 2nd round), remember to make sure that the increases are on each side of the same stitches.
