In this DROPS video we show you how to increase 1 stitch from the wrong side, which twists to the left. Often called make 1 left (M1L).


BEFORE THE VIDEO STARTS:
We have already worked 12 cm with increases and begin the video by purling until there are 4 stitches left on the row.

THE VIDEO SHOWS:
The increase is worked by using the left needle to pick up the strand between 2 stitches from the row below, the strand is picked up from the front and the stitch is purled in the stitch loop that is behind the needle.
