Guide on how to get the Specter Hunter Mask and an Ivory Key in The Division 2! There is no commentary in this video but a full guide is available in the description below!
1) Head to the contaminated area in the Southwestern corner of the East Mall zone (0:00).
2) Shoot the windows with a single shot in the EXACT SAME ORDER that I have done in the video - it matters (0:05)! (1 to 8 on the BOTTOM set of windows and then 9 to 10, SKIP a window, 11 to 13 on the TOP set of windows). *BEWARE* this will spawn the Specter Hunter to the right of the front of the building (0:17).
3) Kill the Specter Hunter and loot their mask! (0:19 to 1:49).
A few things to be aware of in this fight are:
- The Specter Hunter has two special abilities: Artillery Turret (0:26, 0:32) and Firestarter Chem Launcher (0:34)
- The best strategy I found was to MOVE to another point of cover whenever you see him launching the Firestarter Chem (an icon will appear above his head).
- This encounter will drop a single Ivory Key
- Uses an EMP pulse on a regular basis that will effect some equipment and skills.
- The Hunter heals himself when he gets low on health and is behind cover.
- If this Hunter is anything like the others, friendly technology can be hacked to benefit the Hunter (Turrets, Hive, etc.)!
Note:
- You MUST complete the Side Mission: Agent Edwards Support (located in Downtown East) to be introduced to the Hunters before you can try and spawn the Hunters on your own.
- It MUST be night time to spawn ANY of the Hunters. The in-game time can be viewed in Photo Mode (press Escape and then Hold F to access once you're on the menu).
