Guide on how to get the Crimson Hunter Mask and an Ivory Key in The Division 2! There is no commentary in this video but a full guide is available in the description below!
1) Head to the building South of the District Union Arena Stronghold in the Downtown East zone (0:00).
2) Through the doors on the Southern side of the central courtyard interact with the phone sitting on the desk (0:05). (The Southern phone must be done FIRST!).
3) Back into the courtyard (0:11) and through the doors on the Northern side of the courtyard to interact with the phone sitting on the desk (0:19). (The Norther phone must be done SECOND!).
4) Head back into the courtyard - *BEWARE* this will cause the Crimson Hunter to spawn (0:24)!
5) Kill the Crimson Hunter and loot his mask (0:25 to 1:52)!
A few things to be aware of in this fight are:
- Uses an EMP on a regular basis that will effect some equipment and skills.
- The Crimson Hunter has two special abilities: A foam gun that can hit you from a distance and freeze you in place (0:31) as well as a Bombardier Drone (0:34 and 1:13).
- Enemies outside of the Southern entrance can be engaged when fighting the Hunter on that side of the courtyard (0:38). I don't think they are supposed to be part of the fight and can likely be killed and cleared prior to spawning the Crimson Hunter.
- The Hunter heals himself when he gets low on health and is behind cover.
- If this Hunter is anything like the others, friendly technology can be hacked to benefit the Hunter!
- This Hunter can be completed solo. I had trouble with the recording when I originally did it but was able to record helping out a friend!
Note:
- You MUST complete the Side Mission: Agent Edwards Support (located in Downtown East) to be introduced to the Hunters before you can try and spawn the Hunters on your own.
- It MUST be night time to spawn ANY of the Hunters. The in-game time can be viewed in Photo Mode (press Escape and then Hold F to access once you're on the menu).
