Unless you have a finishing booth, you will more than likely have dust on your piece when the finish dries, leaving the surface feeling rough. In this video I show how I achieve a smooth finish using 0000 steel wool and paste wax.
Step 1: I apply 2 coats of arm-r-seal varnish, sanding in between coats with 220 grit sand paper.
Step 2: A couple of days after the last coat of varnish, I wax the box using Howard Feed-n-Wax and 0000 steel wool.
Step 3: I let the box sit for roughly 20 - 30 minutes after waxing and then buff the box using a cotton rag. It's important to remove all excess wax from the box.
