In this video I show how I’m powering a SYIL X7 and other CNC machines when 3-phase utility power isn’t available.

The solution is a phase converter, which allows a shop with standard single-phase service to run equipment that requires 3-phase power.

I walk through the setup, show the converter and wiring, explain the input/output side, and show the voltage being supplied to the machine.
