In this video i am documenting the journey of building a new portable floppymusic setup in a box.
It was intended for an upcoming show and because the old one would never survive shipment a more solid version had to be made quickly.
This is mostly a build log and not a step by step guide but i want to show you how it was made and what the ideas in a build like this are.
And finally you can close the box while the drives are playing! This feature was planned for years for the old setup but never done because i didn't want to drill into the case.

The shift register data is shifted in with the first channel as the first bit. Means the last pin of the last register is the first channel (More in the git)
