Just improved the code for even less delay and overhead.
I apologize for the messy room and improvised led setup. Video has only 25fps. But you can imagine how it should look ;)
Now i get stable 60 updates per second using processing and minim for fft. The effects look still ugly but with that speed it should be no problem to implement different effects.
The arduino uses the fastspi lib to talk to the leds and buffers the 150 bytes of data per update and the processing program waits until the leds are refreshed. 100 leds should be possible too now but i will stay with 50. My other 50 led string will be used in an ambilight.
