The 2-Car Method: Drive both vehicles to River Ranch early in the morning. Leave Car #1 at the public parking lot near River Ranch, then drive everyone up to 64 Acres in Car #2 to start the float.
The Bike Trail System: Drop your crew and gear off at 64 Acres. Drive Car #1 down to River Ranch, lock a bicycle near the take-out, drive back to the start, float the river, and then ride the paved Truckee River Bike Trail back up to retrieve your vehicle!
Public Transit (TART): Take the Tahoe Area Rapid Transit (TART) bus directly from River Ranch back to the Tahoe City Transit Center for a quick, cheap ride back to your car.
