In this Palworld 1.0 tutorial, I show you where to find and catch Ragnahawk, one of the best early-ish flying mounts you can get for faster travel, better stamina, and easier exploration.
Ragnahawk is a strong flying mount option because it has good speed and a solid stamina pool, which makes it much more useful than slower early mounts that run out of stamina right before you reach your destination. If you want to travel faster, cross dangerous terrain, reach new areas, explore the volcanic island, or just stop falling out of the sky like a confused rock, Ragnahawk is worth catching.
To find Ragnahawk in Palworld 1.0, head to the volcanic island and search around the lava pools on the east side of the island. Ragnahawk can be found flying around the lava pool areas, making them fairly easy to spot once you know where to look. They are not too hard to catch, but be careful while fighting and throwing spheres because it is very easy to step backward into lava if you are not paying attention.
Once you catch Ragnahawk, you can unlock its saddle in the Technology tab. The Ragnahawk Saddle becomes available in the section that unlocks after you reach level 33. After unlocking the saddle, return to your base and craft it at the Pal Equipment Workbench. This is the same workbench used to build Pal gear like saddles, gloves, harnesses, and other Pal equipment.
After the saddle is crafted, summon Ragnahawk, hold the ride button, and you can start using it as a flying mount. With its speed and stamina, Ragnahawk is a great upgrade for players who want better map traversal without constantly landing to recover.
