In this Palworld 1.0 tutorial, I show you how to change your gameplay settings so you no longer have to press and hold F to use certain machines or interact with certain objects.
By default, some Palworld interactions require you to hold down the F key until the action finishes. That can get annoying fast when you are using machines, interacting with base objects, managing crafting stations, working around your base, or repeating the same hold-to-use action over and over again.
Luckily, Palworld has a gameplay setting that lets you change press-and-hold interactions into a single tap. Once this setting is enabled, you can tap the interaction key once and the game will automatically complete the hold action for you. No more standing there holding F like your keyboard is being interrogated.
To find the setting, open Settings, go to Gameplay, then Keyboard, and scroll to the bottom of the list. There you will find the toggle that changes hold interactions into one tap interactions. Turn it on, and any supported press-and-hold task can be completed with a single key press instead of forcing you to keep the key held down.
