Each spring after the cross country season is over you should put on a layer of storage wax to protect your skis from drying out and oxidizing through the summer. In this demo I am using a Base Prep wax by Fast Wax which doubles as a storage wax. The nice thing about putting on storage wax is you don't need to scrape it and brush it at the time ..you simply leave on a layer of the wax through the off season. Then in the fall when you are ready to ski you scrape off the storage wax when you want to go skiing. For more info see:
