If you're like me, ears were probably one of those things you just kind of... guessed.
And honestly, you can get away with it for a while.
But the moment you spend a little time learning the basic anatomy, they suddenly become so much easier to draw.
The nice thing is that ears aren't nearly as complicated as they look. There are only a handful of landmarks you really need to remember, and once you know them, you can simplify them into almost any style.
