I don't think I've ever drawn more portraits than I have in the last year.
When I started working on my *How to Draw Faces Like a Pro* course—and honestly, even before that—I had to practice like a maniac.
For months, that's pretty much all I drew.
Different head shapes. Different features. Different expressions. Different ways to simplify and stylize faces.
After about nine months of being completely consumed by portraits, I can honestly say it changed the way I draw. Looking back at my older work versus what I'm able to do now, the improvement is pretty crazy.
These sketches from *Wonder Man* were part of that process.
I really enjoyed the show, the characters had some fun designs, and it felt like the perfect excuse to get some more portrait practice in.
