It's one of the most common yoga sequences - a series of moves that flow together for a beautiful body-awakening stretch. Here's how to do a traditional sun salutation.
In this video, we enlist Kelowna yoga instructor, Steph Wall to show us how she teaches the sequence. Thanks to the help of three of her students, we get to see the Sun Salute sequence (also known as Surya Namaskar in Sanskrit) at three different levels of expertise.
So, whether you're just starting to dabble in yoga or you're a confirmed yogi, join us for a sun salutation and say hello to the sun and greetings to a great day.
