Here is a super easy paw print stitch using a version of Filet Crochet.
You can use this 7 stitch sequence to incorporate into an existing pattern
or use it for a scarf or blanket.

Paw Print Stitch
Chain 7 + 2
Work a dc into 3rd chain from hook
Turning chain does not count as a dc
This is just a guide to the sequence. Create your
first dc of each row using your favorite method.
R1 1dc in each ch across
R2 2 dc, ch 3 sk 3, 2 dc
R3 1 dc, ch 2, sk 1, 3 sc in ch sp, ch 2, sk 1, dc in last st
R4 2 dc , ch1, 1dc in 2nd sc, ch1, 1 dc in last 2 sts
R5 1 dc in each st across

I’ll add “Paw” for st sequence used in each row.
Use the guide above for reference.
Chain a multiple of 10 + 3 + 2
R1 1 dc in each st across
R2 3 dc, *Paw R2, 3 dc. Repeat * across
R3 3 dc, *Paw R3, 3 dc. Repeat * across
R4 3 dc, *Paw R4, 3 dc. Repeat * across
R5 1 dc in each st across
To repeat same alignment , repeat rows 2 through 5 until completion.
To stagger your paws:
R6 8 dc, *Paw R2, 3dc. Repeat * across until 5 sts remain. 1 dc in last 5 sts
R7 8 dc, *Paw R3, 3dc. Repeat* across until 5 sts remain. 1 dc in last 5 sts.
R8 8 dc, *Paw R4, 3dc. Repeat *across until 5 sts remain. 1 dc in last 5 sts.
R9 1 dc in each st across
To continue repeat rows 2 through 9 until completion

Please note that this is more of a guide and I did not add the turn after each row.
I’m assuming you have watched the video and you know to turn after each row and create a dc in first st using your favorite method.
