This step by step tutorial will show you how to crochet a pretty, shell stitch girl's dress / top / smock / tunic. This project is suitable for beginners.

-For size 3 - 4 years use a 3.5mm crochet hook
-For size 5 - 6 years use a 4mm crochet hook
-For size 7 - 8 years use a 5mm crochet hook
-For size 9 - 10 years use a 5.5mm crochet hook
-For size 11 - 12 years use a 6mm crochet hook

For my dress I used a 5mm crochet hook and Drops Big Merino yarn.
