This tutorial will show you how to crochet an easy block stitch baby hat. This hat is suitable for beginners.

For preemie size use a 4mm/4.5mm crochet hook
For size 0 - 3 months use a 5mm crochet hook
For size 3 - 6 months use a 5.5mm crochet hook
For size 6 - 12 months use a 6mm crochet hook

For my hat I used a 5mm crochet hook and Drops Lima yarn (DK weight).
