Shade is so valuable for outdoor portrait photography and video for creating smooth glamor flattering lighting on a face and then filling in the shade with either flash strobe or LED video light for great flattering facial lighting. This is also true for wedding photography and of course fashion and glamor photography when outside outdoors on location shoots. This video shows how to create shade when out in the open where there is no shade and how to do it easily using small portable lightweight gear that takes up very little space and weighs very little, especially when having to hike to the location or while traveling.
