Make your level transitions seamless and cinematic! In Part 58 of the Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial Series, we explore how to use the Player Camera Manager to create professional camera fades.
In this lesson, you will learn how to set up a "Fade In from Black" to start your game with a polished, narrative feel. We also go beyond the basics by creating a "Bright Light" transition for our level teleporter, using custom colours and audio fading to heighten the atmosphere. You'll master the logic of Alphas, Durations, and Delays to ensure your visuals and gameplay logic stay perfectly in sync during every transition.
