It’s time to make your level interactive! In Part 19 of the Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial Series, we create our very first Gameplay Blueprint from scratch. We’ll be building an automatic sliding door that opens as the player approaches and closes behind them.

This lesson is packed with fundamental Blueprint concepts, including Actor Classes, Box Collisions, and "Casting." You’ll learn how the engine detects the player and how to trigger specific actions based on that detection. We'll start with an "instant" open/close logic before moving on to a much smoother system in the next video!
