Before starting the video, I want to say that even if you connect your mouse to your PS5, not all games will work. Only ones that are mouse and keyboard compatible will work. Also, not all bluetooth mice are supported by the PS5.
But if you want to play a game that has mouse and keyboard support, here’s how to do it.
If you have a wired mouse and keyboard, or even ones that work with a wifi dongle, you’re in luck. The setup is super easy. Just plug in the USB or the dongle into the PS5 and a pop-up will appear that they are connected.
If you want to connect a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, then go to Settings, scroll down to Accessories, bluetooth accessories, scroll all the way down to Accessories found, and now put your device or devices in pairing mode. I can’t help you in this step, because every bluetooth mouse and keyboard has different ways to enter the pairing mode. For example this mouse has to be put into bluetooth mode and then hold down the button, others, like the magic mouse need to be turned off, then while holding the click to turn it on. You will have to look how to put your device in pairing mode. Once it is, it will appear here. Select it, if it asks for a passkey, on your keyboard press the keys as shown and press enter. When they connect, you will see the icons. But also keep in mind that some bluetooth mice and keyboards, simply aren’t supported by your PS5. I hope this video helped!
