In this week's woodturning project video, I look at hollowing, which is something I've been itching to play with on video for a while. So, using the Simon Hope Easy Arm Hollowing Jig, I turn a simple vase form from sycamore.

The wood has some fabulous rippling in it which took my new Intrinsic Colour Dyes beautifully.

I needed various techniques to turn this - hollowing, spindle, turning, and parting off....not to mention a bit of artistic flair with the colouring.
